Brazil is one of the countries with the highest number of accidents and illnesses at work. When suffering an accident at work or being affected by an illness at work, the worker has several rights (often unknown to most people).

There is the right to job stability. There is also the right to receive compensation for moral, aesthetic and material damages.

One of the main rights that many workers are unaware of is the right to receive a monthly pension. This right applies to cases in which the worker is left with consequences of an accident or illness acquired at work. If this consequence reduces their work capacity, the Court understands that this worker will be less productive and will have fewer work opportunities. As a result, you will be entitled to receive a monthly pension from the company for as long as this sequel lasts. If the sequelae is permanent (forever), the Court usually determines payment until the worker's life expectancy is reached.
